While I get Holtz’s gripe with him, I don’t get Sharangovich’s gripe (if he actually has one).

I think a lots going to come out about our former coach and the current gm. Watching teams with half the talent walk into the playoffs will do that.

Sharangovich was a fan favorite of the Devil’s who moved to NJ with his wife & their first baby was born right before being traded for a position *of need* directly due to the HC not giving Sharangovich a chance to prove he fills the PP1 Sniper + Top 6 Finisher Role.

-Ruff kicked him down to 3rd & 4th line in the opening month of the NHL Season.
-Healthy Scratch Multiple Regular Season Games
-Scratched 9 of 12 Playoff Games
-Ruff NEVER played him on Power Play, yet Fitz & Ruff stated in multiple interviews how NJ needs a finisher on their PP & Top 6 while the pure scorer they said NJ lacked was on the team waiting to tap into his potential. Sadly, Ruff never gave him that chance & now Calgary was paid a 3rd Rd Pick for one of the Best Shots in the NHL on a very favorable affordable contract.
**P.S.** Holtz was scratched the entire season, until the point he was the only player I ever heard of who asked for demotion to AHL. Fitz, publically apologized for the mishandeling of Holtz. Sharangovich was the other sniper with elite shot & as I said Lindy played him on 4th line, scratched him, & gave him no PP time.
▪︎Plenty of fans, myself included said how obvious it was that Sharangovich will be a 30+ Goal Scorer with a great 200ft game when he receives Top 6 minutes + line mates again, as well as, PP time. Lindy lead to him being traded, hence Sharangovich’s dislike for the old stubborn delusional bum.
▪︎ They can not afford to lose Sharangovich for nothing. NJ will take a big step back if Fitz doesn’t trade Toffoli by tomorrow. Sharangovich is a young, team friendly priced, RFA for NJ. He is faster, immensely better defensively, offensivley equal to Toffoli while only now about to enter his prime. Rango will likely 📈succeed Toffoli’s Career Highs.
Fitz aquired an older, slower, offense only Tyler Toffoli, likely to decline📉 & luckily has **ONE LAST CHANCE** at correcting the trade to have something to show for it. If Fitzgerald doesn’t Trade Toffoli he should be fired without question. He already is on thin ice for allowing the mishandeling of Sharangovich & now Holtz, unable to get the right goalie, poor depth signing choices in Nosek + Tierney over Tatar + Boqvist, & taking too long to fire Lindy AND extending him while he had plenty of time to wait (the infamous **Lou Lams,** ALWAYS stated, ** »if you have time, use it. »**
-Fitz **MUST** trade Tyler Toffoli & get at least a 1st Rd. Pick + another draft pick or trade Toffoli for Ullmark.
_ **Devils fans who want Toffoli extended** _
• He’ll be **32 yrs. old** at start of his new deal
• Remember he **NEVER** had his big NHL payday
• **4.5M AAV.** is the **most** TT has made
• Will demand **4 or 5, maybe even 6 years of Term!**
• Estimated to be paid between **$6M – $7.5M**
• Toffoli is playing Career Best & will get paid for it
• In reality he’s winding out of his Prime Playing years
• Highly likely to be start decline or a plateau/slight decline for a season followed by vast decline📉
