Not ideal with some big division games coming up. Hopefully Rempe is in the lineup Monday Vs NJ

I know everyone plays hurt to varying degrees but it was adversely affecting his play and now he gets to rest up.

There was a time in this sub, that this news would have been celebrated…. Think about that

That’s why you trade for a reliable 7th d.
See ya soon Chad.

So, can’t they ltir him?
njerejeje
Lineup wise Ruhwedel just replaces Trouba next to Miller, right?
blueshirt11
So 3 weeks would be 21 days and 11 games. 3 more days and he could be on ltir and we could have done what Vegas and Tampa and Chicago have done to win cups.
Why didn’t we?

For some reason at first glance I thought it said Trocheck and almost threw up

So dumb, could have ltir trouba and then not had Seattle retain Wennbergs salary and probably would have saved our 2nd or at worst, the 4th.

Better now than in the playoffs.

To everyone saying LTIR him. He would have sit up til playoffs…
Tommybrady20
LTIR is eligible at 4 weeks.
We paid a premium on Wennberg in particular for retention… not to mention the moves we could’ve done with an extra $8M in space.
Not seeing what Vegas did and trying to replicate it given the “luck” in timing of when Trouba is hurt is simply mismanagement from Drury and co. No other ways around it.
Is it stupid and backwards that injuries help you build a better team? Absolutely… but not taking advantage of that loophole in the CBA is quite literally what I’m paying the GM to do.

Jones!
Just_a_dude_online
Does this mean more Jones time?
I think Zac has a lot of potential. Obviously prefer captain Trouba but im excited to see Zac develop.

So wait we’re losing one of our top defenseman for 2 to 3 weeks and that the trade deadline we trade for a 7th defenseman instead of going after a really good defenseman that can hold his spot until he’s back and then strengthen our defense for the playoffs? I have to say I’m extraordinarily disappointed with this trade deadline especially considering the fact that a lot of the big names or better players went to teams that we will most likely have to play during a run to the cup
flyingjesuit
Man overall I’m glad with the moves, but as a result Rempe got fluctuated out of the lineup and that’s not great with Trouba out, he could’ve held the line physicality wise.
