This is what gamers would call an 'Exploit.' Every team is free to use it if circumstances permit. The ones yelling 'cheaters' are usually fans of teams that will have to face Vegas in the playoffs and/or 'die-hard' fans of teams that haven't won anything in decades.

Unless you wanna say that the nhl themselves are in on this grand conspiracy in which that case, yea im sure thats more likely than a guy just getting hurt.
