The NHL is starting to look a whole like the NBA right now: Wild, active trades during the trade deadlines, teams stacking up talent and forming super teams (Vegas, VanCity, my Jets, Avs, Stars, Canes, Panthers, etc), bad officiating, rigging the lottery to favor big market teams like Chicago, teams tanking, etc.

The cap circumvention needs to stop, Whatever amount a team is over needs to be taken from the salary cap for that team for next season or 2 seasons.
AVS hands down did the best. They filled in their weaknesses, upgraded their bottom six and got depth scoring with Mittlestadt and didn't have to sell the farm to get it done.
They're are going to be a buzz saw in the ploffs.
Biggest disappoints for sure are the Devils and the Flyers.
Both came out storming, playing incredible hockey for long stretches, then both eventually cratered back to earth and are now just shells of their former selves.

Ok, so Tortorella got a 2 minute bench minor for Unsportsmanlike Conduct and a Game Misconduct,. Since he then refuse to leave for about a minute, and paly couldn't resume until he did, shouldn't he have been assed and additional bench minor for Delay of Game?? 😆

In our last three games, the Penguins have taken 118 shots on goal. We've scored once… It's obvious just looking at the lineup that we do not have finishers on the team. Crosby and Malkin are not passing to NHL level talent anymore and the team shooting percentage reflects that.

A BS call! Sometimes you just get tired of it. Should've never got thrown out the bench minor and then if it happens again, you go from there, but it was almost like from the beginning of that game. The referees won in Tampa to win I mean come on we know referees have been called on MIKE saying things as far as making calls, so it's no different than the WWF anymore.Go Torts!
