@Maple Leafs de Toronto

Comme il n’y aura pas de match avant jeudi, j’ai pensé que nous pourrions revoir cela [non]but dès le premier match des séries éliminatoires 2022 contre Tampa Bay. Objectif ou pas d’objectif ?

    Idk about you but I see a very thin white line. But hey I’m heavily biased.

    It’s kind of wild that they haven’t implemented tracking tech into the pucks yet. Like accurate to the millimetre. Then goalies can’t hide pucks under the pad etc and things like this are known for certain.

    And don’t tell me you can’t because of the shape of the puck. Tech is way past that.

    Might sound dumb here, but there should be an infrared laser line right at the crease. Have a filter applied to the camera lens and viewed in replay footage. The thinner laser line/marking line would be a little more definitive top down. But alas, this wouldn’t work with a goalie, player or pad in the way. Maybe some tennis Hawk-eye repurposed for hockey instead. Either way, I think something needs to improve. I’m sure Calgary and Gelinas agree, and we would avoid other instances like Hull’s foot, LeClair’s side goal and the Hossa dive among many others.
