Getting old is inevitable. Dubas has a tough job to do to get this all to work correctly, which i think he will. Alot of the fairweather fans and talking head social media types will complain that he is screwing it up and that Crosby deserves better. But the reality is even Mario played on some uber shitty teams. They traded Jagr under Marios watch. I'm actually enjoying the ride and transition.
At 6'4, 210lbs, R shot, I'm hoping Nolan Collins can develop into a reliable defensive bottom pairing guy for the Pens.
Talk about how ek needs to go thats why penguins are looking to send him back to canada
Ilyin IS in the KHL. As an 18 year old too. Very impressive.
great ep guys. Good to hear it ist all doom n gloom for our pens.
pusti should be an nhler next season but maybe as a 2nd or 3rd liner. I believe dubi will want to get a replacement for one of smith and rak. I think his skating and forecheck has improved but agreed he needs to finish more but so does this whole squad. Some of these youngish guys should be decent nhlers by the time yager and crew get to the big league.
Rak-crosby-rust (if rak is in the line up he has to play with crosby unfortunately)
malkin- (new center)-bunting

*this is how i see the line up unless dubi can off load more contracts but i think eller is worth holding onto for the remaining year. Still doesn't look like a contender to me.
We’re definitely not last in the NHL when it comes to prospects, but we’re not too far away. Yager, Bloomquist will be game changers. Pickering has top 4 potential and is developing fine, not sure where the “plateau” comment came from other than that clown Jesse on Twitter. I’m interested in Tristan Broz. He’s a point per game center at the NCAA. I still have hope for him. I’m also willing to bet Guentzel resigns with us this summer. Our time to do a mini rebuild for the end of Sid and Geno is NOW (3 years ago).
I think you just put Malkin with Crosby next year.
