@Rangers de New York

  1. good analysis by biron. and as ranger fan here, yeah, he should be suspended. he needs to learn to control is freakish body.

  2. The guy is not mature enough to play at this level. Give him a lesson now before he ends someone`s career.

  3. He’s like a big moose that doesn’t know how to work with the huge body he has yet.
You could see his elbow came up after the Devils player braked up a bit when he saw what was coming.
    Bend your knees big boy.

  4. Umm. I don't know it looked to me he extended his elbow out to make the contact. Stupid on his part n if he do t get it together taking stupid penalties he won't be on the team for long crowd favorite or not.

  5. Players are moving fast and always expecting to be hut in face by other players stick, insintcs may have had him get his arm up…I'm not gona say 100% sure it was obvious. The most obvious elbow ever was tie domi to someone about 25 years ago. I forget who he hit. But either way kids gota get suspended accident or not Profesional hitters like Kyle clutterbuck train their ass to jeep elbow down. Clutterbuck has most hits in nhl history. If u can't have discipline with elbows u gona be out of tje league as each suspension will come quicker and last longer

  6. He should be suspended for at least two three games. I'm a Rangers fan. But I want to know why number 23 of the devils was chasing him most of the whole first period and he didn't fight.
Then the hit comes which yes I agree was a penalty. But I want to know why number 23 would just give him a 10 minute misconduct because he threw his gloves off He was ready to fight. That being said he should have got a 5-minute major and a game is conduct or just a game misconduct.
I can't wait till April 3rd the next time the Rangers play the Devils.
I want the big guy to go after number 23 and smack his face around for a half hour.

  7. I was so surprised to see the box score and that Rempe played last night, I thought he had been sent down to the AHL again.

  8. Baby Huey has been pooping his diaper every since NJ got McDermid. So instead of manning up he takes the coward way out and throws an elbow. Waving or whatever he was doing is some Junior B garbage. All McDermid has to do in the next game is ask him to fight if he still refuses then go after Panarin see how that works out for diaper boy. If he is still in the NHL by then. 3-4 games for the elbow and a lifetime of stupidity for the waving.

  9. I think he should put on a strike system. 3 strikes and you’re out. This should be strike 2 or 3. The guy is vicious. Yeah hockey is a contact sport and nothing wrong with delivering a clean hit but I haven’t seen one clean hit from him. He’s going to end someone’s career. He’s a danger to the sport.

  10. I’m a rangers and Rempe fan and yes he did crossed the line but I don’t think he intended to injure the guy if you look at what happened before the hit he couldn’t leave the devils zone because a devils was harassing him and I think frustration got the best of him,not making excuses for him he did what he did now he will face the consequences of he’s actions he needs to control he’s feelings and he’s body before something really bad happens whether he hurts someone or someone hurts him it will be very crazy on April 3rd when they play the devils because they will come after him with the intention of hurting him or any rangers if he doesn’t play

  11. Whether you’re a NYR fan or not, the answer to this should 100% be “YES”. Hell, I’m an Avs fan and when Kadri took a cheap shot to Faulk’s head back in the 20/21 playoffs, it warranted the 10-game suspension. Just no place in the game for targeting a player in the head.

  12. People seem to forget that most players head are at Rempe elbow, yes he got the guy but I doubt he maliciously wanted to do that seriously you got to be really stupid to intentionally ruined your career especially after all the love he’s getting not only from Rangers fans but hockey fans in general, ironic how devils fans are crying about this but seems to forget they had a criminal captain Scott Steve’s that literally went out there intentionally hurting players karma

  13. No one is talking about how he was being harassed throughout the whole game or the checking from behind he received no penalty called frustration got the best of him no making excuses but anyone that’s 20 years old with the same frame as him most definitely will do the same so enough with the crying bs because every team has a player like him idk Wilson,Kadri or the old devils captain Scott Steve’s yea a real piece of garbage that did exactly that he’s whole career at least Rempe is 20 still not mature enough. LGR!

  14. I think he should receive the same penalty that former NJ Devil Subban got when he Slew Footed then Rangers Ryan Reaves and then Sammy Blais who missed the season.

  15. League has to send a message to this kid. That is a dirty elbow. 3 to 5 games. If he plays this way he has to answer the bell. He has set a target on his back .

  16. Seigenthaler saw Rempe coming and he tried to stop to avoid getting hit. Rempe extended his elbow to try and get some of him. Unfortunately he’s almost 7 feet tall and he caught his head. Suspend him and move on. Acting like the kid is some gutless predator is laughable.

  17. Siegenthaler pulled up from the hit, and rightfully so, after playing the puck into the zone. Rempe, seeing that Siegenthaler had let up, did NOT adjust his stride to hit him square. Thus him extending his elbow to still make contact. Marty misses that. Which in my eyes makes it a very dirty play and deliberate on Rempe's part. Was making a name for himself, but plays like this will turn people against him quick if he makes this a common thing

  18. i'm not saying this isn't a bad hit…but as far as I can tell, 95% of the people who comment on bad hit videos have never skated before. I'm sure some of you have…like 5%…but if you haven't, I promise you have no idea what you're talking about and shouldn't have a strong opinion. Life at full speed on skates is much different than slo mo on your TV

  19. Love the guys attitude, I want more menaces like this in the NHL – bring back the enforcer!

  20. Why 2024 nhl players do not even brace themselves for a hit after dumping the puck in is ridiculous. I guess growing up with those stop signs sewn to their backs made them to trusting. Hockey used to be great 70s 80s 90s. Now its a bunch of wimpy rich kids. 😅.. watch all the cry baby replies…..

  21. I love it…kid has balls….you see a hit like that every 2 weeks…but because it is rempe there is such a big fuss…..he will have to answer bell april 3rd against macdermidd…..period

  22. The guy must have watched slap shot one too many times. His claim to fame isn’t through skill but drama. His punishment should fit the others that have been like this. 2 game suspension and forfeiture of pay for those games. The NHL will probably show favoritism since he brings a lot of publicity.

  23. If Torts get 2 games for yelling at the weak minded referee than an elbow to the head possibly causing brain damage ( a concussion) should be 3-5 at least!
What is a brain worth to the NHL if referee feelings are worth 2 games?
I guess we will find out!
