So here is an off-topic question. I noticed on hockeybuzz that Ristolainen is showing up as 'buyout' salaray…. I was under the impression this ONLY happens in contract buyouts or situations when a player hits LTIR. I don't see anything about Rasmo going to LTIR, just IR about a month ago. Am I misunderstanding this rule? Did he sneak his way onto LTIR? I have this weird feeling we aren't seeing him again this season no matter what happens.
