It's all lack of skating. Coaches when we were younger would drive it into us when all we wanted to do was shoot pucks. Skating wins games. These last 6 games, it's like the boys got cement in their skates. Our identity was a fast skating team, and we were getting outskated. Forecheck comes with relentless skating. I am not sure if it's urgency, fatigue, or what..GET the legs MOVING Boys. There may be 17 games, but there will come a point when you can't say there are XX many games left. It HAS to happen now. LFGRW!

Defensive breakdowns??!! The whole team looked like they were going after the guy with puck then they would pass it and they would all chase the puck to the next guy! It was laughably bad. This team has showed its true colors! The last 6 games they have played worse hockey then any team in nhl including San Jose and Chicago. That was abysmally awful. A disaster on the ice. Lalonde should be in his players ass upset. And I don't see any passion or heart from him on the bench to get his team motivated…nothing 0 nada! Team is a joke. They don't care I don't care…miss me
We're still right in position for a spot. There are still enough games left. But if anyone expected them to go further than round 1, you're the problem. This is step one. Make the playoffs, see how well they do in round 2. Expect and be happy with 2 wins. Next year or 2 is when you should start to expect much more.

I’m over this season man, Steve keeps petry and chariot he’s basically saying he wants to lose. Both of them were the cause of at least 3 goals against buffalo let alone every other game. Now chariots fighting Raymond in practice, so we got bad defense and now a bad locker room. Idc about losing money or whatever, get rid of em somehow. Our prospects are at least hockey smart unlike these “veterans”. Only downhill from here sadly, unless stevie Y wants the boys to win and gets rid of these terrible players already.👎🏽
Hoping for a miraculous turn around, but it’s going downhill pretty fast 0-6-0, really need to get a 6-0-0 stretch at this point

Bench kane. Put defensive wings with offensive wings, not two offensive wings together. That or move kane to the 3rd line. He may put up points but the rest of the team produces worse with him in the lineup!
Wings have room under the salary cap to bring up a few GR guys to freshen the group. Guys like Holl could be waived if need be as his contract is too large for him to be picked up. No one wanted him at trade deadline and a few games in GR under their HC might be helpful to him and give Edvinnsen a chance.

Id rather lose with young guys in the line up why actually might learn something and grow instead of with complacent vets like Chairot, Petry, Copp Compher and Perron.
The scrum is a good sign in terms of the team being angry and upset and it's boiling over now. They desperately need to win tomorrow for confidence against an inferior opponent at home. I have questions about Lalondes leadership and motivation skills as a coach I think he's tried to implement the right things also we don't know how he is behind the scenes. He could be angry and yelling at them in the lockeroom. Not making the playoffs would be a big time failure and the coaching and roster would all need a shakeup.

Wtf something way off, without Larkin cost them atleast two games obviously hes the driving force for this team.
You can't expect to win if opponent is constantly doubling on shots. I feel like wings need to win 5 out of the next 7 if they want to have a chance. The way they have been playing lately that's unfortunately unlikely.
There is some thing wrong with the team. In the game against (I think it was) Panthers there was a scrum behind the Panthers goal, 5 Florida players against 2 or 3 red-wings. Jake Wallman was standing 10 m away looking on when his team mate got pummeled, before nonchalantly skating to the bench.

Vegas is gone Lalonde, didn't win that game either. I didn't like the look because Vegas WAS beatable and we still didn't do enough to win that game. You have to win more than A PERIOD. You have to win 3. Gotta to get back to basics like Mo said.
