I'm a Rangers fan and I think Rempe and McDermot should have a tilt next game. What I find despicable is a portion of the Devils fanbase hoping that Rempe suffers a fatal drug overdose and tagging family members and hoping that Rempe suffers a career ending injury. I agree that Rempe was childish for waving as he got escorted off, and I agree that his elbow was suspension worthy, but the level of vitriol from a portion of the devils fanbase is disturbing. Calling out a player is fine, and there's a place for it, but involving family or wishing death or career end is crissing a line. It wouldn't surprise me to see a large scrum the first shift that Rempe and McDermot are on the ice. LGR!
My only beef with Rangers fans is them attempting to draw a comparison with Rempe to a HOF legend like Stevens who they never saw play the game but infer that he was a dirty player. The same hits (that were clean during that era) get brought up because their Lemmings and follow the same hive mind. The presentism these kids use today to validate their Tomato Can to one of the best open ice hitters to ever lace up skates is quite the hot take.
A good thing and the only good thing I noticed is that there was a sea of red in msg and we have devils fans that are willing to take over msg just like they do to the prudential center

Resurrect the Crash Line
This team's lack of fortitude and testicularity was first apparent in the Barkov accidental injury game last year where nearly every one of the Panthers made runs at and took cheap shots at "Our Captain" with absolutely zero response from Nico and his teammates in that game and succeeding games. Pathetic and embarrassing.

If we don't sign Stolarz, hopefully he will go to you guys in FA. He is Jersey born and in my opinion, the most underrated player in the league. Even with Bobrovsky playing like Prime Hasek (Especially last night saving 15+ high danger chances to allow us to comeback from down 3-0), Stolarz has been even better. You guys will be close to a cup contender with Stolarz

I blame Fitz ant analytics. We need a coach and a GM that uses their hockey knowledge and gut feels to field a team.
Our players are not only Charmin soft, including our 6'6" gentle giant Bahl, they have zero meanstreak and wilt once they get punched in the mouth. I know a lot of devil fans are calling for MacDermid not to return next year because he takes stupid penalties, but so do a lot of other Devils' players and if we get rid of him who the hell else will fight Rempe after he headhunts and injures our players?
I honestly hate that technically we very much still can snatch a playoff spot, but with how this team is theres almodt no way it'll happen. All we can do is stay hopeful.

I really think this team is 2 pieces away from being a contender. No doubt, a solid goalie, and a bruiser Defenceman (or at any position honestly). Fitz was too busy taking notes from Jerry Jones on how to do nothing and sell it to the fans.

1st off, the guy plays 2 games against us and basically takes 2 guys out for the season. He pulls the chicken shit nonsense.
But that really seems to have cemented the whole softness issues that everyone was kind of feeling and now those concerns are legit.
Is this the right GM to reconstruct the soft roster he built in the 1st place? Too many questions here.

You want to brand a guy who is a week into his NHL career a coward? Maybe you should back off a bit, Rempe might have been following instructions, perhaps, or after engaging in three fights in like 4ish games, simply was figuring out it out. You would prefer heinous physical harm from a Devil Goon on the youngster? You need to get over it, Rempe was suspended. Unwritten rules be damned.
