  1. I love it, the “code” is whatever it is, determined by whoever, and isn’t always the same whenever. Taking a slap shot into an empty net is no more or less egregious than putting your best powerplay out in a blowout game or what kind of celebration a team does that upsets another team.

  2. 1) its a pro league
    2) phili back up coach cries about it then when leafs put out reavo no one comes to dance.

Panzy cry baby stuff from a weak crybaby team. I hope leafs beat them 10-0 next game.

  3. The “code” is so lame. This is the NHL, not house league. You shouldn’t have to take it easy on an opponent to spare their feelings. If you don’t like getting beaten bad, play better. Simple.

  4. Tired players= injury …why risk it …flyers coaching staff needs to stop crying

  5. If taking a slapper into an open net is against the code and running your PP1 in a runaway game is against the code. Maybe the code was made by a bunch of p*ssies. This is a sport where players get paid millions of dollars and are constantly getting physically hurt, if you can't take being beaten you should just crochet.

  6. Did Martin Biron break the code by beakin' off about a code? Absolutley! Just because he played in the NHL doesn't mean he's right for broadcasting, that's obvious.

  7. An empty net slapper is okay but playing a line for a powerplay isn't? Lol everyone's bias is showing.

Never let up on em Keefe. If they won't uphold the code then break every tenet in it. Go Leafs GO 💪

  8. No! Full stop. Nothing burger here. But it’s TSN so let’s manufacture a crisis is we are able!

  9. So if keefe broke the code the flyers destroyed it by scoring a shorthanded goal in that same powerplay…kinda stupid if you ask me

  10. As a Flyers fan, I didn’t have any problem with him putting the top line out there. Welcome to big boy hockey.

  11. They're 1-16 or something like that in the past several games. Also when they did take the foot off the gas metaphorically speaking the non power play guys gave up a short handed goal.

This just comes across as complaints for complaints sake.

  12. If you don’t want to be embarrassed by the other teams PP1 don’t be down by 5 goals. Loser talk!

  13. I'm not a fan of the leafs, or any team in Canada for that matter. However as a goalie myself I actually found it disrespectful if teams started taking it easy or not trying as hard when winning big.

  14. “The code” ?? Shouldn’t the code be to bury the other side before they put in a shorty? No mercy! Just like the panthers, bruins, tampa… ffs. Keefe decision making is not something I’d rate too highly. Look what he’s done with Benoit.

  15. No. He didn’t. Bad look for the flyers, who immediately pushed for a goal after they cried until he put the 4th line on
