  1. Fake news. If you think their firings were just coincidental with the statement, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

  2. As a Blues fan, I wouldn’t mind having John Davidson back in the organization. He was responsible for the start of this modern era of Blues hockey.

  3. Yeah, go against the owner…. time to go. BTW… Rangers have been soft since Gorton took over, Quinn, you're next, soy boy.

  4. NHL is a joke and I'm done with NHL hockey and I was a die-hard Rangers fan could the people fire Dolan lol

  5. Ranger fans should be thanking Tom Wilson, for saving you the heartache of missing the playoffs for the next five years. The owner realized what his team should look in like the last couple of days, and that team wasn't wearing blue…

  6. Seems like the team just sacrificed front office talent over an attempted murder on the ice. Basically a huge LOSE-LOSE for the Rangers. What exactly is ownership's motivation on this one? This is why the average American sports fans ignore hockey as being a rinky-dink minor sport, because it over reacts to tiny issues while ignoring HUGE issues (like CTE).

And that bites, because hockey is the best sport in the world in balancing action, skill, and luck together.

  7. People will be kicking themselves in few weeks if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in Bitcoin as it's retracing….BE WISE

  8. It's easier to get tough players to round out a roster of skill players than the reverse. The Rangers have enough trade bait to get a few more gritty players to make a contender. Maybe the league threatened Dolan because his people criticized their stupidy and negligence, and Dolan caved.

  9. As much as I liked Gorton and was really into what he had going, I do give credit to James Dolan for having the balls to really stick it to the league. He had so much conviction he threw out everyone that didn't agree lol

  10. This is one of the darkest moments in my entire fandom of this team. James Dolan is an absolute moron who wouldn't know what winning was if it ragdolled him onto his skull after a whistle. Chris Drury?? Really!? Well, it does make sense for the Rangers to value overpaid underachievers so sure, why the hell not? Gorton engineered this rebuild and JD is Ranger royalty. This is a dark, dark day.

  11. I’m confused he says he didn’t like the teams reaction to the Tom Wilson incident, was this before or after yesterday’s game? Or is referring to the previous game. Because I felt like the rangers responded well and then some.

  12. Anybody who's dumb enough to buy that this isn't a result of their press release after the Washington game is delusional

  13. Dolan showed that he is a spoiled, impatient, whiney, egomaniac. No one expected the Rangers to make the playoffs this season. The rebuild was in late stage three of four stages. It was less painful on impatient people because of the lottery wins and the Panarin signing. Truth be told, the long-term rebuild was not helped by the Panarin signing, as he’s older than the budding team nucleus, and small and physically soft. JD was addressing the team softness by drafting Cuyle and Schneider. Unfortunately Truba, and Kreider were out when Wilson disassembled the Rangers Russian players. The “statement” was a shrill, whiney, kvetching, shreak. A call-up of Baron, Geertson, Cuyle, and Schneider should have been the response. A different player Fighting Wilson every time he stepped on the ice. This would mean he would be out of every game. This in addition to every Ranger squaring off with a Capital. Even the kids going at it. There’s a code in hockey. Enforcers don’t attack smaller skilled players. Wilson needed to pay the price for violating Thy code.
So in summary, Dolan failed in every way possible!

  14. probably not a good move , but what happened with wilson was the last straw , this team has been pushed around all year

  15. Davidson and Gorton didn't AGREE with the statement and they got can
Hope John Davidson come back to the ST.LOUIS BLUES ORGANIZATION

  16. James Dolan – "I also own the Rangers? Since when? Dear god let me get involved. Look how good Knicks are doing. Make sure security gives Messier a hard time when he comes."

  17. If Rangers management built a team that could defend themselves on the ice as opposed to having its social media team do it for them, those guys would still be around.

  18. For those that don't live here.
Dolan is and has been a blithering idiot.
    The worst, and I'm a jets fan😳

  19. I'm Sure Davidson got Fired because he Told his Players to MAN UP after Wilson incident and Owner is not a Hockey Guy and Just doesn't Get How it works.!!!!

  20. Not an overly big surprise of an irrational, and impulsive tool owner? He meddled amongst the Knicks has well…Having access to monetary means does not suddenly provide knowledge about maintaining ownership of a sports franchise…Let the proper individuals do it for u, which it had, and was actually headed in a rather positive direction. Now, next will be the coach replaced, and he is reverting backwards. Analyze ur blunder, dummy!! U are now likely poised to grow even more frustrated within the foreseeàble futuŕe…Holy smokes, what an idiot!

  21. I don't buy it. More likely, the NHL grilled the Ranger's ownership and said fire him or else, because they were embarrassed by the Ranger's statement after the Capitol's game. The NHL caused that mess and they caused this mess. Bettman and Parros need to go. I loved Parros as a player, but as a someone even remotely involved in player safety, he is an utter joke. Pens fan here.

  22. I hadn't thought about it but boy I sure would love a nice refreshing Tylenol right about now.
Why'd these guys lose their jobs? For having opinions, or was it just because they suck?
