Incase anyone was curious going into this game, Mackinnon (582) has 203 more 20+ mph speed bursts than McDavid (379). Mackinnon(99) has 45 more 22+ mph speed burst than McDavid (54). They are #1 and #2 in those respective categories. Thats how much faster MacKinnon is than everyone else in the league. It’s not even close.
Both of their max speed on the season is tied for 4th at 24.05 mph. Honorable mention to Val at 5th with 23.96 mph and Miles Wood at 9th with 23.88 mph.
