Pettersson is so inconsistent he is making a guy like Auston Matthews look like the bargain of the century. He once again fails to turn up and make an impact when required, and he's going to be on nearly 12 million a year moving forward. So far, he isn't worth that at all. maybe 6-8 and that's being generous. But it wasn't just him. The rest of the team, apart form DeSmith, just disappeared after the first period. Whatever Tocchet said to them in that dressing room, allowing 12x straight shots on goal is unforgiveable.

Petterson was once again a real eyesore in the game. He couldn't stay on his feet, create space for himself to make plays, forecheck, or win any puck battles. Additionally, he couldn't hold onto the puck. He is a liability on the ice right now.
Pettersson had some good moments but he really needs to work on his skating and acceleration. 11.6 Million players don't skate like giraffes
