  1. It's coaching imo. These guys are not coming out ready to play and they aren't responding to whatever "message" is being preached and thats all on coaching. If Larkin is this important to the team, it shows that he is a true leader and the team fights for him and not the coach.

  2. GM, Coach, Players…all share a part of the blame. The roster has got to get better this summer or the blame shifts to SY

  3. “Don’t you dare hang your heads. You are doing so good. Lyon, you are working so hard out there, just hang in there, the season will be over soon. Compher, the patience it took to just stand there at the goal with the puck on your stick without shooting was incredible in domt think anyone in the NHL could have done that. And Petry, that one time you cleared the puck, it went all the way to The other end for an icing. Ras, that crosscheck was such a good crosscheck, I’ve never seen better. Kane, you are doing to great on your line changes. You are all so special in my book. You are all winners in my book. Just go out there in this last period and play, winning isnt the most important thing, just have fun.”
    — Lalonde (Probably)

  4. More of the same…just like Arizona game, just like the game we lost to buffalo
No urgency no desperation. No one looked like they cared again. I know they played yesterday, but so did penguins. Guess penguins wanted it more. Wings looked like they just didn't give a flying f$@$. No energy, No pushback, no one skating moving around trying to get open. No coverage. No zone entry. They looked awful. U sure as hell couldn't tell this team is fighting to keep there playoff spot. Raymond is the only one getting involved in everything he can. I can not believe they are even allowing chairot or petry to suit up at this point. There are useless!! What a joke. U think u would see the coach talking to his team in the bench or player talking trying to figure out what to do or try something else….nothing just blank stares the whole night. I'm sorry I had to vent. Yzerman needs to clean house. These guys are trash. Lalonde needs to go. No one wants to get in the tough dirty spots to create scoring chances or try and create screens in front of net. No creativity whatsoever. This team doesn't care and u can see it on the ice 100%…Wings just pulled down there pants to there ankles, lubed up with KY intimate sensation all over and let pittsburgh slide it in hard and deep. 😂

  5. yzerman already done something, it's called the yzerplan bro

    but seriously though 🤣🤣🤣

  6. I feel bad for Lyon he's getting a lot of flack while being over used. The defence is unacceptable. Especially the veteran UFA lines. Don't get me wrong Lyon has bad games. But he literally carried us for how long on his own? But Raymond deserves a fat paycheck.

  7. We deserved to lose that game, but that Rasmussen penalty was weak af.
And all these clowns saying fire Lalonde. Go watch soccer.

  8. The coach is too soft and squishy. My daughter gives her teddy bear more respect than this coach gets from his players. He knew he should play Reimer in the 2nd back to back game based on his prior performance and Lyon's prior performance yet he let his goaltending coach make the decision to play Lyon. How did that work out? He seems too afraid to make any personnel decisions on his own and lets his assistants run the team. The man has no NHL head coaching experience prior to coming here and we have to sit back and watch him make mistake after mistake. It may take him 5 years to learn how to coach NHL players and we will be along for the ride. Yzerman thought he was hiring a Jon Cooper junior. OOPS!!

  9. where the hell is husso cause lyons done wtf why not play the hot goalie in reimer wtf is gru thinking hes no coach for nhl ?! 🤷‍♂️🤪🫤👍👎

  10. Can't win, had to count on NYI loss to keep the WC spot. Lalonde has to go, he constantly talks like a pee wee coach that makes sure everyone gets a trophy and ice cream. Any other franchise would have canned their coach over a 7 game losing streak when firmly in a playoff spot. Inexcusable.

  11. The Wings played good for two months (Oct/Nov) then stunk in Dec especially when Larkin and Perron were out. In Jan/ Feb we were the hottest team in hockey (16-5-2) and then the month of March is even worse than Dec with a 1-7-0 record. Is there something to this pattern of two good months followed by one bad one? Is it the coaching staff doesn’t know how to break a slump sooner? Players suddenly suck and then they don’t and then they do again? Winning doesn’t appear to be sustainable with this group of players and coaches. Is the lack of enough elite players the problem?

  12. With the exception of Kane, Raymond, and Debrincat, the rest of the team are taking down these players rather badly. They can't pee in a bucket to play defense or ti even have control of the puck. Why do the Wings keep tossing the puck into the opposing team's zone when they can't even recover it half thr time? It's like they keep giving possession of the puck to the opponent, hoping the opponent will turn it over like the Wings usually do wjen they're on the ice. This is sloppy play. They are doing the Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde of hockey again. Hoping With the exception of Kane, Debrincat, and Raymond, I don't think Stevie Y should be re-signing or even extending the rest of his staff and should terminate Lalonde by the end of the season, especially for the shameful remarks he has said lately. I think Stevie Y needs to bring up his top draft picks fir exposure (like Edvinnson, Pelikka, Kasper, Lombardi, Danielson, and goalies (Augustine and Cossa)and play them at least at few lines a night regardless of making the playoffs. It's such a roller coaster of a ride trying to get this team into the playoffs, you almost want to forego the chance of doing it with the current staff.

  13. How can a team fighting for a playoff spot be so badly out worked by their opponent? Just inexcusable
