I don't think Boeser is leaving Petey's line. Also prediction, he's going to score 40 goals. Nice to have options though.
I like all of the potential options available this year. There is a part of me that wants to see the Canucks bring most of the forwards they have to camp to make the most of the opportunities. If any of Baertchi, Goldy, Gaudette or Virtanen can make the big step we could have a very interchangeable top nine. With the way Green likes to go with the hot hand I think we will see the lines changed up a lot. I lean towards Boesser and Peterson with Miller. I wonder about Baertchi with Bo and Pearson. Gaudette with Virtanen and Ferland. That leaves a fourth line of Beagle, Leivo and Motte, which also has some offensive upside. With Goldy potentially pushing Baer out and when Roussel comes back, there are even more possible combinations. I have even started to think about 5 man combinations. Do you try and make sure Hughes is on the ice with Petterson and Boesser as often as possible. Tanev becomes the fifth man to give that defensive support. On the outside looking in that may make it even more interesting is Perron and Hoglander. I also think there is a chance Kole Lind adds pressure trying to make the big club. It is exciting to think about and hard to be patient to see what potential is actually reached by which players and combinations. If everything gels this season I think we have a very formidable group. We have improved in the ability to go get the puck as well as transitioning the puck out of the defensive zone. This makes our offensive players even more dangerous. Summer optimism is the best. Thanks for sharing.

It's best to keep the tough guy Frrland with Pettersson and Miller also can throw down if need be but he will bring a lotta skill and speed to that 2nd line that's needed. And Pearson is a Lock on Horvats line because of that chemistry they have and I pray that Ferland and Miler also have chemistry with their new linemates and can cause a lotta havoc for the opposing teams to play! Man

Assuming we get rid of sutter and gaudette continues to develop into a good two way forward, we could have a solid third line of Baertschi-Gaudette-Leivo

I think your right. Boeser looked way more electric in his first season. While Peterson looked great whether boeser was playing or not.
Boesser a bit of a concern as depends do much on the one element – the shot which can cool off. Needs to use a quick release more. Go Canucks.
We will see a lot of experimentation and they will figure out what works! Like you said, lots of options!
I think Boeser with Pettersson is what they go with based on the finish of Boeser. Boeser can shoot, miller on the other hand I guess we could take a look at what type of scoring he could provide with Pettersson . However pretty sure in the goal departement Boeser has already proven he gets more than Miller…. it’s a tough sell for me switching the 2 anyway.

You're right Miller has over 50 percent faceoff average. Top line is heavy fast and puck control oriented. I think Green will use this. Bo, Boes, Pearson now has a sniper. Beartchi and Goldie can escape top lines and score against softer D.
