I assume we’ll be seeing one of Matthews/Marner/Nylander/Mo in this.

They should do hard knocks for hockey

How about they just air hockey games with no blackout dates

Late to the game but an actual good marketing decision from the NHL

Unpopular opinion but I am not a fan of behind the scenes sports programs that follow athletes… I like some mystery or belief that there might actually be real rivalry and such in sports but I find it to be the opposite when you actually see the vail lifted it’s usually a bunch of spoiled rich kids that have to make up challenges and even when they fail they’ll show them hanging their head as they board their chartered aircraft back to their mansion to sob…. Sorry it’s just not the vibe

I know why they’re doing it but I’m not a fan of what Drive to Survive brought to F1, namely a lot of fake drama edited to attract reality trash show fans to the sport (which isn’t a positive in my book). But hockey needs to do something to elevate its profile and I guess it’s just a case of if you u don’t like it you don’t have to watch it.

  7. I’m assuming the show will be a standard « What it takes to win » documentary, but having cameras on during the entire 3-4 year prime period of the McDavid, Draisaitl, Matthews, Marner, Mackinnon, Makar, era.

Think Michael Jordans docu series but instead of recollecting memories like old men in a chair, they’re banking on one of the 10-12 to win a cup in that time and being there with the cameras instead. Its the style of docu series lately

How about a series that follows the refs and holds them accountable

Drive to survive but hockey? Could be interesting

In one of the post game videos last week a reporter asked Nylander about the cameras following him around. Bet this was it.

It’s just going to be 9 hours of Mitch Marner looking at himself in the mirror, in a variety of cities, hotel rooms and locker rooms, isn’t it?

Im all for this, drive to survive got me back into F1. Watched The All or Nothing Arsenal and Tottenham, wish the leafs series was as good as those.

Wow the NHL is starting to feel like the current Liberal governement. Do anything other than solving the actual problems with the league.

But was officiating addressed in said meeting?

I’d love to see them doing a behind-the-scenes look at using the LTIR to bust up the cap limit at the trade deadline.

And since I’m at it, why isn’t the NHLPA supervising the NHL Player Safety, since it’s the players that need safety, not the NHL?
