I was excited for him after the 23 WJC. Seemed like they found something in the 6th round. But he never got better, and wasn’t able to factor positively if it wasn’t in transition.

I guess it’s a good problem when you have too many good prospects but are they not able to trade his rights so they at least don’t lose him for nothing?

I don’t really get this. Nearly a point per game in the OHL on a bad team, is a center, has been great at World Juniors.

The Wild must think they have better players signed or to be signed to give him a contract slot.
