Any LTIR experts here? I know the players get their injuries audited by an independent doctor. Since he’s on the ice, is there any way we could get screwed by having to activate him from LTIR before the playoffs start?
Fun fact teammates Matt Murray and Martin Jones were both starting goalies in the 2016 Stanley Cup finals. Pittsburgh and San Jose respectively.

Good for Murray, but we don’t need him.
To be honest, I feel like if we start Murray and Jones during playoffs…they would get us far. Not like it’s ever going to happen, but remember goalies are voodoo. Sometimes luck or adrenaline trumps any skillset.
This is awesome. I hope Murray comes back next year on a nice team deal and proves the haters wrong (before anyone gets angry I mean as a 3rd goalie).

Turns out the true cap exploit was the goalies we met along the way.
Adin Hill was Vegas’s 4th goalie at the start of last year. Lehner was AWOL dealing with snake farm issues, Thompson, Brossoit get hurt early on and by round 2 Hill steps in – carries the Knights to a Cup.
Depth in goal and having a serviceable #4 is a good thing.
If any of this has any merit…..well.

Health matters aside, Murray is an elite level goalie and I would gladly play him if needed.
