Isn’t it the organization’s fault regarding Coots play since they didn’t adjust his ice time knowing he lacked conditioning since he didn’t play for almost 2 years? Vegas had enough sense to do that w Stone in the past. Vegas didn’t put the player in a situation & then publicly embarrass them. Should players be held accountable, absolutely. Should they be demeaned & mistreated, no. Is the new era of orange toxicity? Did this organization learn nothing from losing Cutter Gauthier? The team tried to blame him not wanting to play here on the city, when it was Torts & Danny he didn’t want to play for. Michkov publicly stated he wants to be here next season, if the Flyers don’t honor his wish he will demand a trade elsewhere too. He chose here bc he needed a franchise w deep pockets to secure his freedom. We are at a point we need high end talent, & no star player w any self respect would willing sign here to play for Torts & his league worst power play (2 years in a row). Allowing Torts to publicly degrade good players will cost the team in many ways for years to come. Brad Shaw is the reason for the team’s success this year.
