Basically what i wanted to hear from Gallant. if they made no moves, he'd have been disappointed. There were/are still, holes but i think some players were starting to get complacent with their roles on the team. Chytil, Gauthier, Miller, Strome, are you listening??? As Schneider found out real quick, while he has played well, he hasn't been noticeable of late. Want to call it fatigue or rookie whatever…. but you bring in a stay at home vet D man, with playoff games under his belt, he's going to play. Miller, are you watching?
Yikes! Larry Brooks: Panarin= 2 goals at 5 x5 in last 28. Strome 3 goals at 5 x 5 in last 23. Kreider 1 goal in last 7 at 5 x 5. Zibanejad has gone 8 games with no goals 5 x 5, and has only 3 in last 26? The team, two goals or less in 10 of its last 16. Yikes! I'm still excited.

Okay so let me get this straight…there is a problem with winning draws and puck possession so we will leave Strome, a 45% FO average, at center and make Copp, a 54% FO average, on the left wing. Got it, makes sense. I also love how Nemeth deserves a spot but Schneider doesn't. They did the same with Johnny B. He plays well so naturally they move him to the 4th line and give Hunt the 3rd line spot. How are we justifying Nemeth, Hunt, McKegg and Gauthier still being in the lineup?

Great moves by Drury. Everyone of the guys we picked up were fan favorites from their former fan bases. All these guys Fit like a glove with a players coach like Gallant too. LGR!!!!

I loved Drury as a player and even more as a GM, hiring Gallant was huge,I loved the players he picked up and we didn"t give up a lot, you win stanley cups with goal tending and we got the best !

Going from Quinn to Gallant is such a big change, and for the better. I liked Gorton as a GM, but his biggest problem was hiring Quinn, and then not being willing to fire him when it was obvious he wasn’t doing an adequate job. Drury is a better GM, gets the best available coach, and makes smart trades too. 👏
