Domi ne se contente pas de fixer de beaux objectifs, il riposte lorsque les choses deviennent physiques et propulse également l’énergie de Matthew à un nouveau niveau. Les Leafs ont connu des matchs avec des scores élevés au cours des 10 derniers jours. Domi et Matthews sur la même ligne… ce qui ouvre 3 lignes de score est l’une des raisons.

I hope once Marner is back, Keefe slaps Marner with Tavares.
The defense from Marner would be much more effective on the 2nd line with Willy and Tavares since 34 imo should be seeing Selke votes in his future and seems to love being fed by Domi and having Bert draw all the defenders by being a nuisance in front of the net.
Hell even moving Willy down to run the 3rd line with Dewar as his C while keeping Top 6 minutes could give us 3 lethal lines and the ability to load up a line with 88/34/16 when we need a goal or to kill any momentum from the opponents.
Budget Marner but physical. Less defensive responsible but a lot more physical. At this point I would even say Domi is intimidating just like his dad was. For 8 million less we’re really blessed to have Domi.
Most 5v5 over Marner but let’s not forget Marner hasn’t played in weeks now and Domi has been afforded to opportunity to thrive. Pretty easy to track up primaries when you’re passing to a60 goal scorer.
I’m loving Domi and it’s great that he is shining but mitch is a far greater playmaker and round about player. He plays far too much on the penalty kill for example. If mitch wasn’t tasked with pk he’d have so much more energy to give on strictly offense.
Let’s not even argue the primary/ secondary thing. Assists are assists We could argue for all the players that don’t get the 3rd assist but made a play happen that created the goal as well. Defenseman and goalies would get many more points. Example being last night against Edmonton. Our boy timmins came out of the box out the puck on the sticks that lead to the 3 on 1. Timmins created that part and got no apples.
