Sure was fun watching Sid today until that first Colorado goal. I stopped watching after that.
This organization has chose Mike Sullivan over Crosby and the team. If he is the coach next year, there will be zero improvement, and it will only get worse. This should have been over 3 years ago.

Can't beat Letang wide? Obviously haven't been watching at all the past month or two have you? Or you have and your selective memory fails in the face of not wanting to believe what you are seeing from your favorite players that you refuse to admonish, or pretend it's a blue moon in the sky when you ever do. I can't even make it through 5 minutes of these daily shot things anymore before your entire pugnacious delivery makes me hit stop. I took a couple weeks off, and came back to see if I was overreacting and nope, it's even more bothersome and Pensburg like. This is clearly a fan site, and has nothing to to with sporting objectivity.
I am suspect in believing that if this isn't scripted/engineered for the Penguins to be bad. The play is suspect all year long and even the past few years. This doesn't make any sense. An ineffective coach and staff and players who don't put forth 100%! This just doesn't make sense. I have a feeling the Penguins will land a coveted draft pick, the Pens will bounce back, which will include a Cup win and the core retire! That's what makes any sense at least to me.
They are so disappointing DK! Seriously, they started out great in the first period and a half and then fell flat. The announcers jokingly said the elevation finally got to them. What a joke!
Jeez if I'm Sid I gotta really think of going to another team. I wouldn't blame him at all !

We can blame everyone, but this is just reality sinking in. Last years we've had a moderate team – except for the 1st line – with the goal to win a cup. That perspective and expectation is a setup for disappointment. For me this is mostly on the GM's. When the play of an old core declines, they need more other players to make a difference. That's the main part where this goes wrong. A couple of years ago we had more of such players like McCann, Rodrigues, the ZAR-Blueger-Tanev line, the breakout season of Marino, the first version of Carter and the Matheson-Ceci pair. Instead of building up a good team around an aging core (like Boston or LA), they seem to take a step back with each year. Personally, that's the most painful part to witness. Also seeing what Sid's still able to do.
I actually don't think the Pens are quitting. To me, they are just a really bad team that got great goaltending for the first four months of the season, so they stayed kind of in the hunt unlike the other really bad teams who didn't get good goaltending … Jackets, Canadiens, Senators, Hawks, Ducks, etc. But now their goaltending isn't bailing them out like it did the first half of the season, so they are losing just like the other bad teams. And spoiler alert … they are going to be bad next season, and the year after that, and then again the year after that. I would be more upset if I were a Devils fan … that team was supposed to have arrived, and here they are watching the draft lottery results yet again.
when the score was 4-0, I knew it would still be a loss. Its what they do. Letang got burned in OT, they just do not have it anymore. They cannot compete.
Their opponents are basically playing against empty ice…the fact that Sid is the only one who gives a damn is unsettling
It's ashame that I had a feeling that they where going to lose that game. I have NO faith in this team. SMH
Part of aging for an NHL D is slowing of reaction time…split second delay in Letang’s reaction to Drouin put him a step behind. He had lots of notice Drouin was coming. He just waited a half second too long to turn. Maybe that’s why Letang has turned into a bit of a giveaway machine lately.

I felt the tide turn about 4 min into the 2nd (still 2-0) where it was obvious they were out-competed for nearly every loose puck
LETANG has been LOST/IN A FUNK….plain & simple…NOT GPOD…certainly..NOT GOOD ENOUGH…not up to Letang standards…ve been wondering IF he retires after this year….since hes NOT there
