When you said something about what the mascot would be for the Kraken, it wasn’t obvious at all. In fact, it turned out to be a troll.
Nolan Is the name for the beaver
I am SO down for Lady Liberty as the Rangers' mascot! I think it's a shame that we have no female primary mascots in professional sports. Even the WNBA, the most famous female sports league in this country, has a lot of male mascots. So a mascot based on the Statue of Liberty would be a real step in the right direction. Maybe we could call her Libby for short. :3
Perhaps instead of being the literal statue itself, we could say she's the Statue of Liberty's daughter or something (like how Buoy, the mascot for the Kraken, is the Fremont Troll's nephew) to explain how she can fit in Madison Square Garden and see Rangers games when the actual statue is, well, huge and on Liberty Island.
Lady Liberty could work. It you want an animal associated with NYC, we have choices! 1. Pizza Rat, 2. Pigeons, 3. Squirrels, 4. Flaco the Owl.
