Jonathan Drouin est le plus gros vol de la LNH

Aujourd’hui, on parle de Jonathan Drouin et de son contrat actuel avec l’Avalanche.

  1. I believe in a few MORE great games aside McKinnon the confidence and comradery will take off even higher. They seem to feed off each other more with every passing game.

  2. I think a big part of the early season slow start for dru was playing with Johansen. That guy was ruining whatever line you put him on. There's a reason the Avs had to give up a first rounder just to get rid of him….

  3. He had been exiting in important games, so hopefully that translates into the playoffs, energy from all four lines is the best

  4. he is gonna get paid this off season.

i hope the avs can keep him. i feel terrible but at this point i would kind of rather landy not come back..

if he is just gonna be a shell of his former self taking up 7m in cap space that would essentially close the avs window..

  5. That OT goal from last night was absolutely insane, if you watch the replay and blurr out the name and number you would almost think it was MacKinnon with that disgusting move in front if the net but no it was Jonathan Drouin, the fact that he has the ability to do that and play on pretty much any line added on top of MacKinnon, Rantanen, and Makar and possibly Landeskog, and then factor all of that with their depth pieces like Colton, Mittlstat, Trenon, Duhaim etc the Avs are gonna be an extremely tough out in the playoffs

  6. Glad Nate got his bag but imagine him taking a pay cut again after that championship and getting Drouin as a permanent forward

  7. Beauty OT winner, the way they took it out of the O zone and then they came back in to give him his one on two for the goal. Great play.

  8. Stay on the Ice late to practice one timers hits different after the last game against the Penguins. Mack scored a one timer from Drouin and vis versa

  9. Man I was one of those that predicted this last season. I am a Habs fan and saw how Drouin had fallen. The chemistry that he and Mackinnon showed in Halifax was on display last night. I am happy for him hes a very good player who just needed the right situation

  10. Good analysis. I wonder about next year. Fair chance Landy will never play in the NHL again (I hope I'm wrong), and if so, they'll need a gritty offensive compliment to the top 6……and that could be JoDru. He's (the past 40+ games) surrounded by players who go all-out, night after night, and it's timely motivation for a guy who seemed to be doubting himself.

As for Landy, it was suggested (by team Docs) that he rehab his knee after the injury, but he chose to find doctors who thought surgery would get the knee(s) in better shape, more quickly. The risky surgery, as team docs warned, was not a miraculous success, whatsoever. Sure hoping he can rehab his way back to the NHL. If so, I sure hope he can get back close to where he was. Fingers crossed. Go Avs!! The next few weeks are sure to be intense all across the NHL.

  11. I used to trade for him every time playing nhl 20whatever. Surreal to see him and mack together. Such a steal.

  12. a steal???? you got him for free cause nobody wanted him…playing on a contract year always make those player move their feet faster. Have fun while it last.

  13. Thing about Drouin is all the old tropes on him are WRONG. He checks, he works, he grinds … Avs fans love the guy.

  14. Drouin needs to sign for two more years with the AVS, maintaining that bargain status, proving his worth along side MacK, guided by Bednar and then go for the massive contract to close out his remaining years. He will be happy and "reset" his worth in a massive way. He probably won't pull in the same stats going somewhere else after this season, only proving his talent is where he is comfortable. Prove who he could be and then take that massive contract. Signed, a selfish AVS fan!

  15. Well the big change was when he bought the system which was checking hard and fight for the puck. That is Bednar’s rule for all forwards.

  16. Drouin made his money with his previous contract. If he is wise he would now stay with the Avs for 1M/year and enjoy what count: good ice time, good teammates and victories.

  17. Man there is alot of salt in this comnent section from people who wish their team was as well ran as the Avs lol. Lets see, Drouin was solid in Tampa and solid in Colorado but sucked in Montreal. Huuh, maybe Montreal was just a horribly run and coached organization all along.
