Interested to see if him and Gylander actually get games this year in GR or if they’ll just practise with the team.

Woah, 7th round pick getting a contract is pretty rare, should be interesting to watch this guy in GR
Saw he’s still 18, turning 19 this year…. Does this mean he’s still gonna be back in the WHL next season because of the CHL Age 20 rule?
Regardless, exciting to see the progress of a 7th rounder, earning a contract alone is huge!

Was curious how he would do this year against his teammate Connor Levis. I was curious why they went with Finnie over Levis at the draft, and Winnipeg took Levis 9 picks later, who is bigger and heavier than Finnie and put up way more points last year. There’s close to a year between them age wise though which I guess it what we were banking on.
Levis: 65GP – 24G – 31A – 55PTS this year with two teams.
Finnie: 62GP – 19G – 40A – 59PTS this year on the worst team in the league.
