  1. canucks loses a match by 1 goal and Toronto Sports Network : "IS THE CANUCKS BAD MATCHUP!!???" meanwhile Toronto is on a 71 year first round embarrassment spree

  2. Analysis is spot on, Mr. Biron. They are insanely deep down the middle. They are also a team full of big players, which is particularly bad for the Canucks. It's the reason why the Kings don't get players like Petterson, they get big guys like Kopitar, Byfield and PLD.

  3. I was pumped for this game becouse I knew the kings have a good chance of winning. I low key, high key need the first round Vancouver/LA.

La has had the better team vs the oilers but mcdavid/dry have been killing us on the power play. Kings take toooo. many penalties now a days. Rather at lest see y’all in round 2 lol.

Coming from a guy from Bakersfields CA 💯. Go condors 🦅

  4. the kings are a worst case scenario for any team as they bore the other team to death. Its not hockey its complete garbage. We dont need teams like that in the NHL. If you want to ropa dope do it in another sport. Hockey is suppose to be free flowing its the reason we put in all the rules to stop hooking and holding and now clogging up the middle of the ice and defending is just as bad. We got jacques lemaire out of the league for a reason Can it be winning hockey yes but your fans will not come back. Its disgusting and they need to do something about it.
Stop this terrible hockey. I went to sleep and didnt miss anything. They are killing the game.

  5. Canucks won't beat anyone in the first round. They're weak and lazy. Look at the third Kings goal. That has happened over 20 times to the Canucks this year. Loose puck infront of the net and everyone dazed and confused not getting the puck out and it goes in.

  6. By playoff time the Canucks will have a healthy Lindholm, Joshua, and Demko. The West is tough, but the Canucks are going to be a handful for other teams too.

  7. LA going to be ahead of the Grease Stains by season end ….maybe even Vegas….just saying I think I smell another losing streak coming

  8. Yeah if Lindholm, Joshua and Demko are injured and Kings get fluky goals and beat the 67.8% Canucks chance of winning four times in a seven game series… the yeah, they're a bad matchup. Not so much if you consider that Canucks didn't have a great game and still statistically would've won 5 games in a 7 game series. Nor if you consider the fact that according to the shooting map the ice inside Canucks' slot was pristine while the Canucks were swarming their net.

Also one team is all but guaranteed a playoff spot and the other team is fighting for its life for theirs. You'd expect the latter team to rely on more than perimeter shots, lucky bounces and a 32.2% win chance?

  9. history is not on Van's side. they lack playoff experience relative to the teams they'll face, and its shown all month on this home stretch: they're losing to teams who're demonstrating more playoff grit & experience than themselves. They have a losing record all month to those teams, with 6 of their remaining games against more of the same. Maybe 2025, 2026 when they've earned the same playoff experience as who they're soon going to face…

  10. Well LA defense and system will be a nightmare for anyone to play against because they wait for that mistake and make anyone pay for it.
