The boys are 0-6-1 in their seven road games. That sums up why we're 2 points back. You look back on two games we lost both to Arizona.
Petry… that one has gotta be a goal. Raymond made an absolutely gorgeous pass. So frustrating that one couldn't go. Also frustrating that in OT our 2v1 opportunity didn't result in a goal. Team played very hard tonight. Appreciating the effort from the boys.

Kane SHOULD have had two. If only he would shoot the puck. Forget making a play getting an assist. Take over the game yourself. As for OT, DeBrincat should have shot the puck that cost us the game. As for people saying get a new coach, I strongly suggest and request you just quit watching. Make room for actual fans who know the game. There is no room for "fans" who don't understand anything about sports. With that said, we are still in it. On to the next game.

What happened 😢
Team has enough talent to def be a playoff team but there's clearly issues with coaching, preparation and toughness. They need a new coach who can instill expectations for how they need to play every period and every game and demand it. Lalonde preaches about structure but he's not the right leader for this team. Where's the emotion? They're not going anywhere with their inconsistent play. Despite it they still have a chance at that last wildcard bc Philly looks like they're faltering right now.

Don't know how to say it anyway with more honesty, but it sounds like they're giving excuses during these interviews. There's a perfect explanation for the prior slide, and now this one. Except for a few players like Kane and Raymond, the rest are really not playing the way they were capable of for 2 straight months (Jan/Feb). And Yes, Lalonde has to go. He's had his chance in 2 years to prove to prove, and he failed. He shoud be let go. And Stevie Y should let most of these veteràns go. They are not inspiring the young guys.

Watching this team play like this is infuriating. Very sloppy. This team is still years away from having that extra gear like the top teams in the east. I just can’t wait till we move on from all the vets and all these bad contracts and have young blood on the roster. Lalonde is a question mark? He’s too nice to be a head coach and not have his team be gritty and physical in every consistent game of the season.
