Clinched playoff berth
They paid for Twitter/X premium while also clinching a playoff birth
Looks like the nhl app doesn’t do this, but I use the ESPN app and they also put an “e” in front of all the teams that have been eliminated from playoff contention. The other sports leagues do this too. If you look at the NFL standings, you’ll see that there are even more letters like this—z for clinching the division, y for clinching a wild card spot, etc. Just some extra context in case you were curious 🙂
