I actually side with Marner here and I do think it’s kinda weird to blame someone’s play for why they got injured. Marner didn’t get injured because he doesn’t shoot enough, he got injured because ice is slippery. That’s like saying if Matthews injured his wrist, he should stop shooting the puck and start passing more and the injury is his fault. Doesn’t that sound strange?
