Fedotov already has a contract with the Flyers. His contract from 22-23 was pushed to this season after his military service finished. Theat is why the IIHF got involved when he signed in the KHL

Crookshank played 3 years at UNH so I'm happy to hear he's getting a shot at the NHL level. I don't know why anyone would find his name strange. Crookshank isn't that uncommon of a name.

Fedotov was seen as probably the best goalie not in the NHL which should be a huge boost for the Flyers. What are they feeding their goalies over there? We have to be getting close to 1/3 of the leagues starters being Russian. Kind of alarms me for the future of Canadian Goaltenders especially for the national team when it seems like every other nation is leapfrogging us handedly.
The Flyers continue to be the most interesting team to follow this year.

As someone who used to follow baseball growing up, I remember how each regular season game had so much more meaning prior to the expansion of the playoffs. Just hoping the NHL has the good sense not to tamper with their current playoff setup. 🙏

Honestly with the Likelihood of the Leafs playing Boston or Florida (even if they fall to the second WC unless Boston or Florida can get past NYR the Leafs would still play them) i would say the Leafs are the easy out.

There will be 2 easy match-ups against the eventual Eastern Conference wild card teams, probably 2 of Washington, Philadelphia or Detroit. All 3 of these teams are playing lousy hockey.
