Grabbing at his back. Hopefully that’s one where you let it rest for a couple weeks then feel fine.

Did you notice a lot of differences in his play between before & after this?

And know the team we play in the first round knows the exact location of our soft underbelly.

Man, every game vs Colorado it feels like they absolutely hate us.
Aside from the Bertuzzi incident, the past five years have been them mostly torching us and getting physical with us.
First game this season: Manson being a bitch to Boeser.
Second game: this.
Third game: we do not speak of this.

I wonder if he herniated his disc in his back. Could have also pulled a muscle tho.
Either way, you can still play but def wouldn’t recommend. Disc injuries can take 6 months or more to heal.

That position on the bench seems like he’s grabbing his hip / back.
Worst case would be vertebrae but considering the team said day-by-day rather than an immediate long term injury, hoping it’s something like a bone bruise.
I broke my tailbone and it didn’t feel right for close to 3-4 months. Maybe a bruise.

Looks like a hip injury more than anything. Probably why he hasn’t been as dynamic offensively.
Googled Hip Bruise, 1st note that popped up:
« It may take as long as two to four weeks to recover fully. You can return to normal activities as soon as you feel able. Don’t massage, heat, or stretch your injured muscles while you’re recovering. Doing so can hinder healing. »

Byram sure loves hitting guys without the puck
Since that happened:
14 games 1 goal 2 assists 3 points
In the games before that his stat line was:
8 games 4 goals 2 assists 6 points
