Btw, was social media hilarious or what, when Flyers got within 1 multiple times at the end of the game?! I am usually a pretty positive person, especially avoiding negativity directed at the B's, but I find it annoying when the team repeatedly does really worrisome things, like lose leads at the end of games and coach's response is something like "It wasn't a Picasso but we pulled out the win" or some other lame response; he should honestly act at least a bit more concerned about it.
And yes I agree Charlie Coyle has really stepped up this season!! He's always a fave of mine on the B's. On the other hand, I feel like Zacha's constantly missing open nets is what I notice, but I guess his good stats overall mean he's done other good things. In the past 2 weeks since coming back from injury, he's having more success it appears by just shoveling pucks at the net instead of trying to snipe (and miss the net usually, lol). I do recognize that he works incredibly hard and is a great teammate. My honest assessment of those two is that they've been 'passable to good'; I wouldn't exactly say they've been excellent.
Bold prediction: Sway is going for someone like Zegras. He's got a very aggressive agent, he might be asking for too much cuz the Bruins won't bleed their lines dry
Ullmark will give a loyalty contract and he's more than worth it.
We need to get over last playoffs with linus. Just move past. He's the reason we had that record setting season last year –
Jeremy contributed to the easier game load. He was never proven better than linus, only a "what if"
Sway's already butt heads through arbitration on just that little $3.45 mil contract. It's going to be a tough negotiation.

Torts and the Flyers got Jeremy exactly where I've consistently called out his vulnerability. If he can see it? He can stop it.

Teams know how to take advantage of his slight lack of height, he can't easily scorpion post to post like Ullmark, and that's how Torts got him.
I don't know how he's going to get around limitations like that?
Players like Linus have 6+ inches more wingspan, bigger spread eagle, fill the goal, can scorpion post to post even when they can't see the puck behind them.
And last season was the first time after he finally fully rehabbed after his double hip surgery, which happened back in buffalo. Apparently he was called back up early when the sabers goalie got injured, and never had a chance to fully recover.
Then there were family problems back home.
Essentially, he's almost like a rookie with more experienced hockey vision.
