My first thought… Keon NICE JOB STEVE
Doug Gilmore and Tim Horton.
Big 3 Isn’t the same thing as alum games though lol. Big 3 is actually awesome to watch
Sunden and leech
If it’s prime of the player and not necessarily what they were with the leafs, it’s Ron Francis and Brian Leetch
Prime Mogilny, Lindros, Leetch or the undrafted Eddie Belfort.
Sundin, Salming or Cujo if I had to chose leafs who played in Toronto during their prime.
Defense Salming Baun Horton Rouse Lefevbre honourable mention Turnbull…. Keon Gilmore Clark Sundin Sittler Williams
Gary Roberts Gilmore Clark
Clark and Salming
the sweet six
WENDAL CLARK
ERIC LINDROS
GARY ROBERTS
THOMAS KABERLE
LUKE RICHARDSON
FELIX POTVIN
If only two.
WENDAL CLARK
ALEX MOGILNY
Borje Salming??
Eric Lindros and Brian Leetch 😂
Adam needs off the drugs. There was no better Leaf in their prime then Sundin
03-04 brian leetch combines with 03-04 ron francis. True Leaf legends.
Sundin didn't have a team like this and always was a playoff performer and the hard hitting Bryan Marchment .
I agree with Dangle: Dave Keon and Tim Horton. With honourable mentions to Darryl Sittler & Borje Salming.
Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf
Forward: Dave Andreychuck
Defense: Sylvain Lefebre
Wendel Clark on Defence to play behind Darnell Nurse, and be paired with Adam Larsson. and Mats Sundin for the Oilers 3rd line centre with Kailer Yamamoto and Ryan McLeod.
If you don't like it, call in the Army.
I mean this is a very difficult question to answer for most anyone given the long timeframe. That’s said based solely on my viewing experience over the past 30 years AND considering this teams needs…I’m taking playoff warrior 01-02 Gary Roberts and 12-13 Mark Fraser
Sundin up front. Yuskevich on d. And Turku broda in net. Btw Sundin made an entirely international roster work like a well oiled machine and punch waaaay above its weight class….if I'm not mistaken they won the president's trophy twice.
Brian Leetch and Eric Lindros
Clark and belfour
The disrespect on Darcy tucker wowww these guys ur choosing played years on years ago were they would never last in today’s hockey lol they would be trashed they played against goalies who never wore helmets and bigger nets and trash players now adays they just wouldn’t be that good hands down like 500% honestly I think the hockey players in today’s league are better then Gretzky he even says him self the skill today’s players have is insane it’s way different then how they played….yes back then in that era Gretzky is the greatest off all time there was no one like him and he changed the game but just imagine having someone like Conner mcdavid with the skill he has… play back then he would literally destroy players lol get like 250-300 points
Eric Lindros and Salming.
I would expect that Doug Gilmore might get mentioned.
Tim Horton was 5’10 175
TIM 7 YES
If you bring former Leafs on board, then the roster wouldn't be current, would it? If everything else was equal this season, I'd add a 25 year old Bill Berg and Wendell Clark. One to draw the other team into penalties and one to make sure no one screws with the first and second lines. There's your Stanley Cup.
Is Adam serious when he says that Gilmour has the most assist and points in club history, Salming has the most assist only 299 more then Gilmour and Sundin has 535 more points in a Maple Leafs jersey then Gilmour.
i'm so glad Steve remembers the legend of Darrel Boyce
