That "if that was Game 15 we'd be happy" quote is interesting
If you think about it, the fact that the Wings are still playing games that are acceptable early in the season and not good enough late in the season shows that they haven't improved enough. Teams should get better at systems and playing a certain way over the course of the season and build upon their game from the start of the year. This team has struggled all season to become the team they need to be and honestly has never looked like they've figured it out. If the Wings still look like they did 15 games in when we're 75 games in, something went wrong.
Olli Maatta is the best plus minus player on this team he needs to play every game from now on
