My Dad was the organist for the Canes. They asked him to record all the rallies and then let him go. DJ had become more prominent. Auctioned off the organ. So Canes are in a different tier. However they use the recordings all the time, and it’s still pretty awesome to hear after every goal.

Despite being a born and raised Torontonian (or, kinda born – I was like, five when Scarborough became part of Toronto), I’ve been accused of being a Habs or Oilers or whatever fan cuz of how I talk about the Leafs on this website. Lemme tell you, Toronto’s organist being on the second tier is a crime. This is the one place I’ll stand up for this stupid organization. I guess if we ranked anthem singers I’d be for her, too. Something Morris? She’s great, I love her.

I think we just got our organist back to be honest. Dude played a ripping rendition of 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago at the alumni game. I don’t know organists around the league, but he was good.
