That includes some good years with Markov too, no?

Fucking brutal man. Like O get we don’t have Mcdavid-Ovechkin-Kane to deploy but we ha e a point per game(ish) playmaking C who is also a threat to score, a couple good young goal scoring wingers and one of the smoothest skating defenceman in the league pushing for 60 points. Power play should definitely be a strength. Or at LEAST average.

Least surprising thing I’ve read all day

We use to have one of the best in the NHL within those years. Markov and Streit, Markov and weisnewski, Markov and Souray, Markov and Subban etc

For so long the Habs have lacked offensive punch that it seems like it’s long been part of its identity, just like how the Leafs carry that lack of second round success identity.

Damn, I’m glad these rough days are behind us, and our PP’s on fire now!

…These rough days *are* behind us, right? Surely we fixed that, in 12 years.

I thought they were worse than 32. Made my night.

Ouch. Bergevin really screwed the team over big time.

Man it feels like yesterday Sheldon Souray had 26 goals (19 on the PP)

48 powerplay points of his 64 total that year wow.

Hutson and Mailloux are coming! Things will change soon

Lack of top end talent has been an issue as long as I’ve been alive. Directly relates to PP success. Other than a couple years of the Souray/Markov/Kovalev era, our offense has never scared anybody

    We have been rebuilding…

    Goals are down league wide…

Number one centres dont grow on trees…

This game is hard….do we fire anyone yet ??

All of this **SHOULD** change once Kirby Dach comes back. I mean, look at what possibly our pp will be next season:

    1st unit: Caufield – Suzuki – Matheson – Dach – Slafkovsky

    2nd unit: Newhook – **???** – Xhekaj – Ylonen – Roy

Also, the 2nd unit needs a scoring winger. Then, whatever combos will work, it should work.
