Judging by Rempe saying he loves those guys and they are his brothers. I’d say it didn’t go unappreciated.
Rempe as the catalyst, the veterans as the glue. This really brought this team much closer together. Great job by Vesey and Goodrow. Heady veterans those two.
Some of the intangibles of a championship team.
I knew Vesey and Goody planned it lol, you can see them looking and nodding at each other right before the FO. That makes it even funnier how Lavi was doubling down on this not being planned. Good on both those guys for stepping up like that, that was nice of them. I love how close knit this team is.
And Vesey is such a Harvard guy, *of course* he knew about the rule.

It’s these kind of people that galvanize teams into champions. Remps was facing the most pissed off opponent in his entire life, and big-brained teammates with an undying heart put their **own careers** on the line for him.
That’s the kind of bond that lives on forever. Huge respect and commitment. Other teams will see this and hang their heads in shame that they don’t have what these Rangers have.
