Winning a Stanley Cup with the Leafs is the most difficult task any player, coach or GM could undertake in their careers due to the degree of difficulty. It's easier to win the Stanley Cup outside of Toronto than it is to win the Stanley Cup with Toronto. McDavid winning the Stanley Cup with the Oilers is a walk in the park compared to what Auston Matthews has to do in Toronto which is to climb Mount Everest. If McDavid is as good as the media and fans says he is then he NEEDS to prove his worth by playing for the Leafs and asserting is GOATNESS by winning them their first Stanley Cup since 1967.
For the first time in my life, I agree with Craig Button. I’ve said Dallas-Edmonton for WCF. I know we just had an eclipse. Is there a weird planetary alignment going on or something?
We will see who is the Best in the West! Saturday April 13 Canucks @ Oilers! This Game is a season in the making, Who ever wins this Game will Win the Pacific Div.
No they are overrated and play in the weakest division in hockey. One game without McDavid means shit all. They have been healthy all year and teams are bound to have injuries. Elite teams can win when their stars get injured. Sure they won one game but doubtful they can win a stretch without him.
They have been healthy the whole season and in the weakest division and are in 10th place in the league.
As an Oilers fan, I can confirm the answer is absolutely not. At some point, goofball defensive decisions from Bouchard, Nurse, or Desharnais will cost us a series.

NO! Oilers are Maple Leafs west. Or haven't you people figured this stuff out yet?
0:42 this next bit is so incredibly well-said
I LOVE how much the defence is stepping up in every way.. Its been SOOO many painful years of terrible D.. That’s the biggest difference right now.

Hahaha
Nope. Oilers suck.
Will be seeing Vegas leading the series 3-2 against the Oilers in coming weeks. Will see Skinner giving 2 weak early goals in like game 5.
The " expert " media and many of their fans wrote them off during the first 2 weeks of the season

Oiler defence/goaltending sadly not good enough.
Goaltending. If it's consistent and reliable, Oilers will be unbeatable.
Just showing mcdavid highlights as you talk about how well the team played without him lol
Vegas just like Florida on their losing streak aren't even trying… Go ahead and put everything you have on Dallas and Edmonton to win round 1 please
I guarantee you that Vegas and Colorado will be playing at a higher level when it really matters. Excited to see how far they can go
Dallas vs NYR SCF…
Mcdaivd needs the Stanley cup instead the mvp award
