I’ll take a rarer doomer route, what’s up with the 3rd line? 👎

  2. ExistingStrength5246

Anyone who said trouba sucks u all would do worse than him miller didn’t do shit this game Gus also sucked

  3. morgaine125

I only got to see snippets of tonight’s game because of a work event. Is there any way to explain how tonight’s loss is a one-off anomaly and not a sign that we are collapsing?

  4. Fedbackster

Haven’t read any other comments yet, but will. I’m bracing for the endless copium and excuses. But the truth is no killer instinct is a concern. A chance to end the Flyers’ season matters. So does 1st overall. A team that can’t beat the Isles and Flyers is just not playing well.

  5. Nyrfan2017

Looks like a differant team with the captain in line up

  6. jkman61494

Gus and Brodz HAVE to sit next game. Ideally it’d be Trouba but we know that won’t happen.

  7. Gbeez22

Damn. Fishsticks just won in OT. Do not be surprised if they ride this emotion and beat the Rangers again Saturday if this team can’t muster up any will to win again.

  8. Gbeez22

Does this team play worse when everyone is healthy or am I imagining things ?

  9. rackc1ty

Back to back games and we couldn’t muster one 5v5 goal against two teams fighting for wc2 spot.

  10. crazypants36

Losses like this suck, but how they bounce back is what I wanna see. A win Saturday will heal all wounds and I think (hope) they come out and play how we know they’re capable of playing. Every good team loses to teams they should beat, so no need to panic. It’s definitely disconcerting that they’re not entering the playoffs on fire, but they’re probably also hitting the cruise control button a little too much atm.

It’s not just that they were bad, tonight. At least on Tuesday it looked like they wanted to win in the 3rd and 2nd. Tonight they very clearly didn’t give a fuck. I don’t understand it.

  12. Envelopen

Past two games and even the game in detroit really mirror the problems back during the stretch of abysmal games we played before the all star break. Hope that things change asap, now the isles are almost secured into the playoffs so annoying

Losses happen – a lot after 82 games. But not all losses are equal and this is a terrible loss and a terrible time to come up with no effort and no heart.

  14. ItsHeadbangerG

Pretty frustrating to see this team violently shit the bed these past couple of games. Part of me wants to relax knowing we clinched early, and part of me knows playoff positioning is important and wants this team to continue winning. Ultimately it’s out of my hands and I can only (over) react to how this team plays. Kinda tired of repeating the talking points so I won’t. Moving on.

    See you Saturday.

Momentum means a lot and I’d like to be going into the playoff hot not ice cold.

  16. glacier_bay

I want to read reports that an unnamed Rangers player in the locker room could be heard throwing things, smashing things, and ripping his teammates a new hole. I want indications that this team has heart and soul, that there is a fire burning in that heart and soul. Enough with the corporate board room talk, the self-pity, and the lack of self-accountability. The playoffs are a week away. These Rangers should be bursting with energy and enthusiasm right now, playing like a team with big intentions. Instead, they show up farting all over the ice when they should be running over teams like the Islanders and Flyers whose seasons are on life support. Where is the killer instinct? Why aren’t these Rangers looking step on team’s throats and stick a dagger in their season? Where is the fire?!

  17. TheIncredibleHork

End of the world game? Nah.

Disappointing? Oh yeah. So much that I’m glad I last minute sold my tickets to tonight’s game…

Do we need Rempe in on Saturday against the Isles to get some momentum? I certainly think so.

Two games left and we need to bounce back just a little bit and get some momentum.

  18. Envelopen

If we dont win Saturday i dont even know how im gonna handle all the dooming that would unfold from over reactive fans. Then everyone gonna be talking about rangers isles in the playoffs, i just cant have that

  19. Anyawnomous

If you want the Presidents Cup as bad as I do then Winnipeg is doing us a favor at the moment. Please win Jets!

  20. PaulMarnersFurHat

Like it or not, the Rangers organization has a lot of tough decisions to make this summer. At least 1 of the vets has to be gone. Best case scenario is that Zibanejad has a monster playoffs and increases his value (which is lower than ever right now) and the Rangers FO can convince him to waive his NMC.

This frees up over 8m in cap space. Lafreniere is going to be due for a huge raise. We should lock him up for a 6×8 or something like that before he becomes a point per game player and we can’t afford him.

We might have to consider moving on from Trouba as well.

  21. 0ddmanrush

I’m not sure how you don’t at least try Gustafson with Trouba and Miller with Schneider. Maybe it’s too late at this point.

  22. TJN0519

jets are about to blank the stars so shoutout winnipeg I guess

  23. BigJohn1231

This is it in a nutshell…all of the teams are gearing up for the playoffs except the Rangers.

  24. Iamhe_is_a_He

I’m not a watcher or a listener. I just look at the score at the end of my night shift, and my morale as a Rangers fan is dead in the water from what looks like a horrendous game after tonight.

  25. deeply_sighing

Love it. I knew coming here I’d see people calling for Mika to be traded and the typical sky is falling posts because the #1 seed in the entire NHL, and the division leaders essentially since Opening Night, happened to lose to a team fighting for their lives.

The Rangers could win the Cup and people would jump in here and say « yeah, but ______ had a great run and priced himself out of NY! we’re screwed! »

  26. groovystreet40

This entitled ass team isn’t going to win shit, same fucking bullshit every year, as soon as the games get tough these pussies stop playing. No idea why people spend hundreds of dollars to watch it when we all know what the result is going to be

  27. whatsaburneraccount

Holy shit this BC team is like a super team
