Went on a road trip with Phans of Philly to Toronto and this lady behind us said I don't see no Wayne Simmonds jerseys, I said oh he's loved, that's just by chance, she introduced herself as Wayne's white mom who knew him personally, said her son and Wayne were best friends, it was a really cool connection.. Wayne truly was loved in Philly, glad he's retiring as a Flyer

Simmond’s is a real hockey player. He plays the game hard and just as mentioned he is the first guy to defend his teammates and if need be he would drop his gloves to fight. I am not a Philadelphia fan, my teams are AVS and CANES, however, I love the sport and tough players like Simmond’s, you have to give Simmond’s a lot of credit for the way he played the game!🏒🥊
