Well it sucks we’re out but I’m still here, see how they close it out. I maintain this team is close to being a playoff team and is just a few small-medium changes away which I think will come in the offseason. I think we’ll be a contender again in around 5 years.

Crazy that was Kappy’s 6th goal in 72 games this season, and last year he had 8 in 23 games once he got traded to STL O_o
Intermission question to ponder: Should the NHL institute a playoffs play-in game or tournament? Do we already let in too many teams into playoff contention?
Is this a joke? We get eliminated from the playoffs, now we are playing against #17, Panger is announcing and Chief is an analyst.
I didn’t realize the game started at noon. How they looking today?
1. I’ve been waiting all frakin’ season long for him to do something, and when the season is basically over, now is when Kapanen decides he’s going to score a goal?
2. Is the best coach available for next season Craig Berube? I know, I must be insane, but the time off seems to have been good for Chief. I am liking the things he’s saying on this broadcast.
4. I really don’t want to see Bannister coaching us next season. It’s not that he’s bad, he just isn’t good. The handful of games we could/should/needed to win this season are on him. His team was either ill prepared, or he failed to lead them through adversity. We could be in the playoffs, but we are not.
4. Panger. It’s just weird listening to him after seeing/hearing him on Hawks broadcasts. In 1 season, he’s even more of a homer for them than he ever was for us. Holy Jumpin’!
