Well, this happening so fast is surprising. Thx to Don and now we get a new life so I'm hoping. Lindy could be be in pole position.
WOOHOO! Good riddance, four months too late! Now let's see who comes in to replace him, Appert is best where he is currently, Berubi would be a good fit. Make Lindy president. Gotta wait for the press conference to see if this is the only big development today.
It's time to win, it's time to take the next step forward and we have such a great opportunity to find a guy who's gonna get us into the playoffs and utilize the abundance of talent we have on this roster and coming up from rochester. My biggest fear for next season was the return of Granato!!! Now lets get an actual NHL coach, a fire breathing hard nosed old time NHL guy with a history of winning. Great news!

I wouldn't mind so much if the Sabres reassigned Granato as development coach, as his expertise is developing young talent… He just isn't cut out for being an NHL head coach… I would also like to see Lindy Ruff become- President of Hockey Operations and hire either Craig Berube, Garard Gallant, Claude Julian, Joel Quenneville or Bruce Boudreau as the Sabres next head coach…

I suspect Adam's saw the trapdoor opening and decided Granato could go first. So technically he made the decision but I'm pretty sure Pegula was certainly involved. It's been a rough few years with covid killing attendance. How much money can the team lose before the owner starts getting antsy. Why though has he waited so long? It was clearly an issue that was never resolved as early as pre season when they were clearly not prepared. Back to the A Don where your soft style won't succeed either. 🤔

Thank god man, I really really didn’t think they would do this and I’m pleasantly surprised. If this was adams it shows some balls with him knowing change was needed or else. Now hopefully we bring in a veteran head coach who has won in this league and lead the team in a more physical direction

If they would bring Ruff on as President of Hockey Operations, I would be happy to see one Michael Peca behind the bench as HC. I think they would make a good pairing. Ruff and Peca would get them hitting and would have them playing a style that would make opposing teams coming into Buffalo have to grow eyes in the backs of their heads. But first…I want to see Matt Ellis in the unemployment line. Why he wasn't also let go (yet) is beyond me. He doesn't even look like a coach behind the bench. He looks like someone's drunken uncle who couldn't find his seat, stumbled into the bench area, and no one had the heart to make him get out.
Granato had experience at levels where hitting is not really allowed much.. it showed. I think Adams got sick of hearing from him too… just too bad Torts is not available..and this team is NOT 2 games above .500… our .500 is pts%.. and even that is fake because regulation games only award 2 pts and OT 3… if all games were worth 3 pts.. .500 pts% would be 123 pts… and as far as games.. we didn't lose 37.. we lost 43… OTlosses are still losses… we were 4 games under .500… 2 pts above in pts %.. Still, I tend to agree with the timing… unless he did it prior to Christmas, a change would not have worked anyway… now it's time to move on. Maybe bring Lindy back… just as long as the team NEVER hires another MURRAY.

This is what a Buffalo needed. While don and adams built the team to what they are, a new coach will take them to the ultimate goal…. a Stanley Cup. I wonder if GM KA found your videos and then made the decision. Great day for sabres fans.
