Team needs to find motivation between periods, because whatever we have currently doesn’t cut out. Feels like we get outworked and the tempo of games can change very easily for us this year in the intermission.

I’m actually pretty hyped we’re getting Boston. I don’t care if everyone says we’re underdogs. A series win there would be a huge statement. We’re going to have to go through Florida *and* Boston if we want to make a run anyway.

I’m also glad that the next game is tomorrow so I don’t have too long to wait to see if Matthews plays. Whatever decision that’s made regarding goal number 70 is fine with me. Not seeing Matthews on the ice tomorrow is a tough pill to swallow but seeing him get injured will be a tragedy of historical proportions
