  1. With a Samsonov or Woll, it will be a wrap for the bruins but if you go with Martin Jones, then it's possible to even win the cup but with the other 2 goalies, No way in heck…..

  2. Now the regular season is only about Matthews’ individual goal scoring record – will this regular season only be remembered for Auston failure to score 70 goals?

That is what it looks like. Why weren’t Leafs Executives and Fans not content with 69 goals?

Then Matthews could have rested for the last two games. This looks like another Leaf Core 4 disappointment. 😀

  3. Let’s face it, 70 goals for 34 is the leaf’s Stanley cup this year.

  4. Red Wings fan here (so kind of a disappointed neutral at this point☹️), just posting to say that despite: the Maple Leafs' disappointing regular season record against the Bruins; their less-than-stellar recent form in the playoffs; the pessimism of many hockey analysts AND seemingly a significant number of their own fans, etc, I personally believe that the Maple Leafs are going to make some serious noise in THIS year's SC playoffs, starting with the Boston series.

The Maple Leafs over the Bruins, by 4-2, in Round One! I'll go and put my 🎯 t-shirt on now and wait for the inevitable incoming 'fire'…hahaha😁!

  5. As a bruins fans yes they are but the goaltending will be the reason the leafs likely lose
