A top 15 pick would be everything. Go to FA for a mentorship goalie/ starter. Imagine Dickenson and someone like Parasak/ Hage and then with the later pick and then players like Chernyshov/ Alfons Freji in the later round. Excited for the draft and the possibility to get younger despite the fact they disappointed me taking Honzek last year. Disappointing from the Gettgo
Red Wings are kind of locked into Husso/Lyon. Their only hope is Sebastian Cossa
As a very biased wings fan. We need new goaltending I know we have Lyon and husso, and yes Reimer. But we need good goaltending if we want to make the playoffs and our goalies suck so there is not a chance with the goalies we have can make it to the playoffs. And who likes Joe veleno.
Wings need a bridge goalie and Markstrom could help. Hard to see them giving up too much though with Cossa probably a year or so out… we could by stuck with a Husso Lyon tandem or another budget sign
absolutely no reason for this kind of trade. the salary is horrible. and you stay in house with Cossa if needed and try and move one of Husso/Lyon. Who TF are these people with these ideas? Laughable.

Detroit has $5.65 M locked up in goalie next season with Husso and Lyon.
LA doesn't have a goalie under contract past this summer.
The leafs only have rookies and Woll.
The wings won't go with Markstrom, they have Husso and Lyon signed until the end of next season. Plus, I don't see Yzerman giving up too much just to secure a goalie that he didn't land as a FA, he's been very open about the fact that he's not willing to trade away a piece of the future for a player now.

Would rather take Gibson for the wings. Would cost lest salary and less assets to acquire. Would just be a solid okay but PROVEN starter than can bridge the gap until Cossa is ready to be an NHL starter. That being said, I’d definitely take him if the cost wasn’t too bad in a trade and we could dump Husso’s contract somewhere

Not a chance Leafs are spending $6m on a goalie. They are going to have a cap crunch next year as it is, without Bertuzzi and Domi, and they need about 10 players. Tavares doesn’t come off the books until next offseason
