@Sabres de Buffalo

    Us billionaires got a lifestyle to maintain you guys wouldn’t understand

    Bills sale makes sense. It would be a non-controlling stake and he’d get back close to or all of the initial money he paid for the team. Knighthawks just press released that it is business as usual and they are not being sold, but we will see. If he does anything with the Sabres it will likely also be a minority stake.

    So the FedEx driver who tweeted about this the other day had some heat after all, eh?

    How about our billionaire owners hire some competent people to run their franchises/businesses and stop meddling with the fucking teams, just like every other business they run.

    Stop. Fucking. Meddling. You’re an owner, not the CFO, COO or CEO. Hire competent ones, give them the power to make decisions, shut the fuck up, and chair the board.

    Does anybody know how the non-relocation clause works? I know Galisano put a clause that Terry couldn’t move the team, but how does that work if he sells?

    I know the Sabres relocating is an extremely unlikely possibility, but I would like it to be a 0 possibility preferably

    I’m from Rochester and I barely even knew the nighthawks existed lol

    Smart moves by TP.

    Maybe I missed it and I could have but bills season over nothing from TP, sabres season over nothing from TP, uproar over PSLs nothing from TP, now big news in Buffalo sports nothing from TP.

    I know a lot of people said they didn’t need to hear from TP before but sources and spokesmen doesn’t seem like enough now based on a lot of questions, posts and comments here from a lot of the people that paid for the new stadium.

    Shares of the team should be offered to fans like in Greenbay.

    Sounds like the Pegulas need to liquidize some assets with significant Bills stadium expenses coming up, and would rather sell a non-controlling stake in the team than take a loan. I wouldn’t read too far into it.
