I am in that heightened state of anxiety and excitement where I have a million scenarios in my head, from getting swept in the first round to repeating as champions.
But that being said, there are three facts that I keep coming back to. One, we more or less steamrolled through teams last year in retrospect. Not a single series went to seven. Two, we are objectively a better team this year than we were last year. And three, our path may lead through great teams – but they’re literally all teams that we’ve eliminated in the playoffs before.
