That was a choke of all chokes but when the espn threw the 15 games when leading in the third period number out I knew it was over.
I’ve never seen a team so susceptible to quick turnaround goals after giving up a previous goal. It seems like this happens pretty often to this current Preds team.

Canucks fan here. Thought you had that one. Vancouver got off to a slower start not getting shots early and were chasing that game. Vancouver is a much better frontrunner. Demko was honestly a bit shaky too. I didn't really like either goal. He was cheating off the post on the first one and I thought he was down early on the second. Nashville was tough and resilient all night and I thought were a bit unlucky. I'm sure Nashville will be better in game 2 and I think so will Vancouver. Keep the faith on your side Nashville. You have a great hockey club that plays honourable, hard, clean, honest hockey. No shortcuts and no cheap shots. The way the game should be played This series is just ramping up.

Quinn Hughes has unbelievable puck possession numbers, that's a big reason why the Predators didn't have the puck on their sticks very often.
Canucks fan here, I was at the game. What an atmosphere. Not sure Nash will be that loud. Close game, nux in 6. Both teams have another level but in the end the Lindholm / Dakota line will be the difference in the series. Additionally, if Petey starts playing better, Nash won’t have an answer. However, it was a very close game, love all the physicality!
It seems to me that Cody Glass should step into a C spot, possibly shifting Sissons to RW and Beauvillier out of the lineup.

Remember that game we were winning with something like 14 seconds left in the game, and then lost IN REGULATION? I hate to say it, but this team is just not good. We had an 18 game run and got into the playoffs, but just to be first round fodder. They turn the puck over right in front of Saros way too much. They can't skate with the puck when they get any pressure at all. It's embarrassing to watch them try to clear the zone sometimes and just can't win a single puck battle to save their life. In order to stand a chance, Saros has to play lights out, and last night, he didn't. I bet we lead the league in shooting the puck into the goaltender's chest. A sweep is pretty rare, so I'll say we win one at home and then get bounced in game 5. Better luck next year!
As a canucks fan I thought O'Reilly looked really good and Josi was dangerous. The powerplay makes me nervous and Canucks need to find a way to pressure their zone entries a bit better. Pretty evenly matched and our top guys weren't firing on all cylinders either. Should be a great series.
