  1. Two games in and Mitch Marner has been invisible in both. The series is tied 1-1 despite him. The Leafs need to find a way to get rid of him and his crazy cap hit. They can spend that $10.9 Million in much better ways.

  2. Matthews put the team on his back with 3 points. That's why he's a true leader. The D needs to clean up the D-Zone coverage right Rielly…

  3. Title is deceiving should say domi wasn’t going to let leafs lose he scored and gave Matthews a break away if matthews had to work for that wouldn’t have happened was a perfectly placed puck by Domi,, matthews has sucked in playoffs again this year , also Willie has same amount of pts as marner over first two
Games and Willy hasn’t even played on shift marner is junk

  4. No doubt Matthews played great. But isn’t it a basic fact that in order to win in the playoffs “your best players need to play great” this amount of effort should be standard EVERY GAME. You aren’t always rewarded but this is what’s expected for 13 million. Macinnon on Colorado plays this way, MacDavid in Edmonton plays this way, Crosby plays this way all the time.
I’m not trying to knock him, he’s was great, but this is what’s expected as a bare minimum.
Imagine how good they can be when Nylander and Marner return…..

  5. and here I thought that toronto would get completely shut out… well at least they wone one game this playoff…

  6. It's interesting how people said game one was lackluster by the Leafs.
They outshot Boston by 12 shots, They took a few undisciplined penalties and Boston goalie stood on his head or got lucky or a combination.
Sammy wasn't, bad most goals he had zero chance on.
Things just went Boston's way, But the Leafs were totally not outplayed like score suggested.

  7. Rule 10.2 (a)(iii) When a player takes a stride while holding the puck in their hand, assess a Minor penalty for Handling the Puck. Just saying …Its never called but its a rule
